GTA IV Achievements

Prototype Multiplayer

Sierra and Radical Entertainment announced that they removed the multiplayer mode fromthe game Prototype because the want to encourage the players to "delve" into the single-player storyline. The other, real reason, they gave was that the wanted the game to release on the original Fall 2008 date. I think the reason they did that is because if they release it later another good game will come out before the time they finish with the multiplayer. Radical defended their choice by hinting at a possibility of co-op functionality in post-release DLC, and confirming that "multiplayer will definitely be on the table from the start."

Dawn of War 2, Prototype

Belgian magazine PCGameplay announced that the game Dawn of War 2 will be coming out 2009.Relic are bringing some of Company of Heroes' tricks over to the Warhammer universe, with units now able to occupy buildings and also use the same kind of pathfinding and cover AI as that found in CoH.Both Marines and Orkz will be getting co-op campaigns, though other races will also be playable, you'll need to take better care of your men (important squad leaders must be kept alive) and the environments will be almost completely destructible.

Assassin's Creed System Requirements

If you remember the rumors, some said that Assassin's Creed will need 3GB OF RAM. Well that isn't the case the actual recommendations are listed below.

System Requirements:

2.2GHz Core2Duo or equivalent CPU
1GB RAM for XP, 2GB Ram for Vista
256MB Shader Model 3.0-compatible video-card
8GB hard disk space

Whoever wrote the system requirements before was spreading rumors or just exaggerated to get noticed and get written about.

S.T.A.K.L.E.R., Alone In The Dark, Tetris 2012

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky is a prequel to the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. The game will come out in August 29th. It will feature improved AI, a more fleshed-out story, and better character development.

Don't have enough space for a regular computer? Try the ZPC-GX31. It's a PC that takes up the space of keyboard. This computer has a 2.66Ghz Core 2 Quad processor, 4GB of RAM, a DVD burner, 1Gbit Ethernet, 2.5" hard-disk, touch pad and a memory card slot. Of course I'm listing all of its hardware when it is at its best and costs the most. You can also have a Core 2 Duo processor, less RAM and so on. The graphics card is an Intel GMA 3100 which is okay for gaming, but not great. That's why it's good that there is a PCI-e slot for a different graphics card that is much better such as the nVidia 8800 GT.

Tom Clancy's EndWar

This is Real-Time Strategy game. In the game there will be voice-commands you will be able to issue to your units. They made the game more easy to pick-up and play but with a lot of depth. For instance the game only has 7 unit types tanks, helicopters and so on. But the units will have about 300 upgrades. The units, which gain experience during combat, keep both their experience and upgrades from battle to battle on the game's more than two dozen maps.

In the game you have the ability to evacuate units in the middle of battle. If you get them out before they die you can still use them in the next match. All of the buildings in the maps are destructible, which isn't anything new. But it has a fairly sophisticated MMO-ish online component that looks at the game's 40 territories at the end of each day and averages out the outcome of all the matches to decide which of the three factions won which territory.

The pick-up-and-play isn't really about the game being easy as much as it is about being accessible. A key component of that, of course, is the voice commands which allow someone to play an RTS on large maps on a console without getting frustrated. The voice commands let you manage the battlefield from any location on the map.

Verbal commands are typically broken down into three steps. First you say the unit's name, then the order and finally the goal. To move a unit you just say "Unit three move to Yankee"
To create a group you say "Calling all gunships create team, red team."
To order a group to attack you say "Red team attack hostile one."

Most of the game is voice controlled. The game will be available Q3 2008 on XBox360, PS3 and PC.

Syndicate

Syndicate, released in 1993, is a real-time strategy game that was released on the PC, SNES, Jaguar, Amiga, Mac and 3DO. Many people liked thee game and many tried remaking it but were unsuccessful. The longest anyone had the project of remaking the game running was about a year. Now Peter Molyneux said that he wants to make a remake the game too. Well lets hope that Peter Molyneux actually does make it because most of the games he makes are great. Some of the games he made are Fable, Black and White and so on. Battlefield Heroes

Battlefield is a modern day shooting game you have to buy. It is mostly about playing online with other people but there is a single player mode. You can get more experience points which help you get weapon upgrades and new weapons. Battlefield Heroes is a free to download, free to play online game. Instead of being the traditional first-person shooter game it is a third-person shooter. First-person means you see the game from your character's eyes(you see the weapon and your hand) but third-person you see the whole character from behind.It is a cartoon shooter which means it is played for fun. It also has power ups which will be weird for a shooter but hey IT'S FREE!!
